Trade Show Inspiration

March 23, 2016

We find inspiration for the creative process in our daily surroundings, but on occasion a trip to a trade show or different design center kick starts our spirit and our vendor list! This summer’s NY NOW gift show did not disappoint, and we took advantage of our hotel’s convenient location on Lexington Ave to cruise both of the design centers. We’re spinning with enthusiasm!

The quintessential accessory for classic interiors, that transcends all palettes, blue & white. Sunflower yellow is a favorite accent neutralThe depth of the solid orange with the orange & white painting is rich but not over the top tiresome Ceyan is this great blue which isn’t blue, isn’t green, and goes with either One of the highlights of the show is this imported line of lighting. The pierced metal shades create a neutral pattern and in varying sizes and shapes are stunning alone or in multiples Working with the agent for these wonderful handmade baskets for a large custom order Finding good fakes is always a challenge, and these preserved boxwoods will do nicely for staging The eye catching rooster stole the show at this vendors booth, but still plenty of other good stuff Visiting the Christopher Peacock showroom on Lex, was dazzled by this pink safe in the custom closet display
