Season’s End

It’s uplifting to begin the work week with fresh flowers in your home or office. Before gathering today’s blooms, I thought it would be nice to capture the beauty in the fall garden before it is claimed by frost. The Dahlia’s are magnificent, and a favorite late summer cutting flower. There are a few day lilies peeking out from behind the hydrangeas, and the young fig tree is loaded with fruit. We’ll see if we remember to harvest before the birds!
