Happily Ever After Kitchen

Renovating a kitchen can be a daunting task for any home owner.  It was very hard to imaging this “before” kitchen becoming such a happily ever after kitchen!  In this case, we revised the layout of the appliances to improve the work triangle, improve the view into the kitchen from the entry hall, convert a large closet into an entertainment counter (previous post), transform the eating area into a island work space/serving counter/eating counter, and replace the double windows with french doors leading out to a new deck, adding ample outdoor living space (future post).  This major improvement was done on a moderate budget.  Consider your budget before you begin the project for optimum results. After, a multipurpose island replaced the table, storage was carried all the way into the empty corner, and doors lead to a new outdoor living area.
