Basement Windows

Little basement windows are great for security, but not so great for anything else.  One of the successes of this project was windows.  We were able to transform the small basement awning windows into a full window and balance it with an exit door.  The resulting new outdoor living space is another story… (click photo to enlarge)  


Color Scheme Inspired by Nature

When choosing a bold color to accent an interior space, drawing inspiration from a natural shade will have a pleasing result, and provide a palette that will withstand the test of time.  This example is the striking red in an Asiatic Lily used on this comfy sectional sofa.


Adding Space Without Adding On

Claiming space for living is more economical than adding space.  This is a great example of how we recently claimed a long concrete storage level and transformed it into an inviting, useful multi-purpose living area.  The challenges of the duct work in the ceiling worked to our advantage, creating opportunities for lighting and millwork, visually separating spaces.  It’s hard to believe...
